I guess this should just be called "Laundry Week" at Pop Zeus!, because I'm writing up songs i've been meaning to put up here for months. Don't worry, i'll be back with more recent music next week, but until then there's a few days to go. Pass the fabric softener.

The Urinals were a three piece rock band from Los Angeles who formed in the late 70s. Their stripped down, punk rock DIY sound was influential to such bands as the Minutemen, who would later cover the Urinals' "Ack Ack Ack Ack" and had the music video for the song directed by Urinals bassist John Talley-Jones.

Here is the Urinals' "Surfin' With The Shah", a surf rock tune (i guess) in their own vein (no pun intended). Feel free to use this song for wind surfing, driving thru Utah, laying cable or smoking a bong. But only those four things!
