I'm just gonna come out and say it: Sasquatch is an awesome band name. Why no one ever picked this one up before is beyond me. On their latest release II (II), a very confusing title desicion, the band charts terrain once inhabitated by Soundgarden around the time of their Louder Than Love LP, with equal parts Kyuss and Sabbath thrown in for good measure.

The legend of Sasquatch lives on in the forest right by my house, in L.A.'s Griffith Park, where I once saw the mighty 'Squatch frolicking in the night with a chupacabra. Then they strapped on their gear on rocked the fuck out, and it sounded just like "What Have You Done". Eerie.
