Ah, the sixties. A time when things were referred to as "far out" and "heavy". A time when hippies roamed the earth with impunity, drugging and sexing without fear of consequence. At the Woodstock festival in upstate New York, these smelly revolutionaries congregated to fornicate and listen to bearded men dick around on their guitars for days on end.

One performer, Arlo Guthrie, sang his song of smuggling drugs into LAX called "Coming Into Los Angeles". With all the spite I have for hippies I actually love this song. But the best part is at the end where Guthrie, nicely toasted, addresses the crowd. You couldn't ask for a better snapshot of the 60s. The New York state thru way is CLOSED, man!
