The Coup "Baby Let's Have A Baby Before Bush Do Something Crazy"

The Coup are perhaps best known for the cover of their 2001 release Party Music, which depicted the World Trade Center towers blowing up. This unfortunate record just happened to be released in September of 2001. Yeesh. Fortunately, the Coup was allowed to continue recording music in this country, although I'm sure the Homeland Security Department has been keeping a lose eye on them ever since.

2006's Pick A Bigger Weapon kept true to the Coup's politically charged idealism, where the current administration is put up on trial with a infectiously funky soundtrack. "Baby Let's Have A Baby Before Bush Do Something Crazy" is at the same times funny and scary, as the man in question still has some time left in the Oval Office, and you never know when he's gonna stir up some shit with yet another group of religious fanatics on the other side of the world and create more new enemies for the country.
