Roots Radics founders, bassist Flabba Holt and guitarist Bingy Bunny are big science fiction fans. Why else would they pen so many odes to Star Wars and Star Trek? In the 1980s they dominated the Jamaican music scene working with the likes of Gregory Isaacs and Israel Vibration.

But what isn't known about Roots Radics is that they hail from the planet Rebulaton and they are the saviors of a dying race. They were send to earth to collect fertile women to repopulate their species. Unfortunately they got caught up in the whole reggae scene and forgot about their mission. Bingy Bunny left our mortal world in 1993, when he was welcomed back with open arms by the Rebulatonians. The'ye good peeps, they don't hold grudges.
