First of all, its impressive to me that Weezer has written a song I actual like this year. Its exciting news. Not since Pinkerton have I cared about this band. But debut album and Pinkerton were great enough to keep me caring, and to keep me continually disappointed. But now Weezer is set to release their Timbaland (!?!) produced red album and I have to say "Pork & Beans" reminds me of classic Weezer. Perhaps Timbaland went in the studio, listened to their songs and said "uh, look I'm not a big rock n roll guy but it seems to me you should just do what yr best at, write anthemic songs with big fuzzd out guitars. Then shoot an awesome video for yr first single that employs internet superstars like Tay Zonday, the Leave Britney Alone Guy and the Afro Ninja and Kevin will like you again.
